Suzuki has unveiled the Euro5-compliant, 2021 GSX-S1000 naked roadster for the global markets. The latest iteration of the litre-class Japanese roadster motorcycle gets a major styling makeover along with mechanical upgrades for 2021. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the 2021 Suzuki GSX-S1000.
The 2021 model packs a sleeker design than its predecessor. The revised styling brings a vertically-stacked LED headlight to motorcycle. The updated headlight design is complemented by a body-coloured mask.
The 2021 model also receives aerodynamic winglets for added downforce. The styling feature should aid the high-speed stability of the 2021 GSX-S1000. The 19-litre fuel tank features shrouds that add a muscular look to the 2021 GSX-S1000.
The feature list on the 2021 model also include a full-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, split-style seats, and a compact exhaust cannister.
Internationally, the 2021 GSX-S1000 gets three colours – Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Matte Mechanical Gray, and Glass Sparkle Black.
The Euro5-compliant 999cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor makes more power than its predecessor. The updated engine produces 150bhp of maximum power at 11,000rpm as against 145bhp at 10,000rpm on the discontinued version.
The electronic rider aids include Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) that comprises selectable riding modes, five-mode traction control, bidirectional quickshifter, ride-by-wire throttle, low RPM assist, and Suzuki Easy Start System.
The suspension setup includes 43mm KYB inverted front forks and a link-type rear mono-shock. The anchoring tasks are handled by twin discs with Brembo callipers at the front and a single rotor with a Nissin calliper at the back.
