Triumph Motorcycles India has announced the launch of the 2021 Bonneville range in the country. The list includes the latest iteration of the Bonneville Speedmaster that has been launched at Rs 11.75 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
The 2021 model gets subtle styling upgrades and new colours that distinguish it from its predecessor. Thus, while the Speedmaster retains its custom cruiser style, the clock on the 2021 model gets a new bezel with subtle Bonneville branding and a new dial face. The 2021 model also gets full-LED lighting as standard. The motorcycle can be further customised with the optional 79 accessories.
The new Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster gets three colour schemes – Jet Black, Fusion White and Sapphire Black with hand-painted twin coach line, and Red Hopper Candy.
Mechanical specifications retain a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree firing order that makes 76.9bhp at 6,100rpm and 106Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The motor comes with a 16,000 kilometre/12 month service interval. The electronic rider aids include two riding modes – Road and Rain, ABS, and traction control system.
The hardware on the 2021 Triumph Speedmaster include a higher specification, 47mm Showa cartridge front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. The braking setup includes twin, 310mm discs with Brembo callipers at the front and a 255mm single rotor with Nissin calliper at the back.
