Triumph Motorcycles has launched the 2021 Bonneville Street Twin in the Indian market at an ex-showroom (Pan India) price tag of Rs 7.95 lakh. In comparison, its predecessor was sold at Rs 7.45 lakh. The 2021 model features several revisions over its predecessor.
In terms of design, the new Street Twin gets new side panels, decals, foil tank badge, brushed aluminum headlamp brackets, new cast wheels with machined spoke detailing, and a redesigned bench seat.
The hardware remains similar to the old model, and the 2021 Triumph Street Twin continues to use a double downtube chassis, an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination, telescopic front forks up, a rear mono-shock, and single disc brakes at both ends.
Mechanical specifications include a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 64.1bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,800rpm. The motor continues use a five speed gearbox. The Street Twin comes with a 10,000mile/16,000km (or 12 months) service interval.
