Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2021 iteration of the Street Scrambler. The new model range comprises two variants – Standard and the limited-edition Sandstorm. Both motorcycles will be introduced in the Indian market very soon, although the launch details are not available yet. While we await those details, here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler.
The 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler retains the styling cues from its predecessor. The 2021 model continues to pack feature such as a round headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a tall-set exhaust, and split-style seats.
The rugged styling of the Street Scrambler is emphasised by features such as wire-spoke wheels and fork gaiters.
The limited-edition Street Scrambler Sandstorm, which will be limited to just 775 units worldwide, further benefits from a brushed alloy sump guard, high front mudguard, and a new headlight bezel with black grille.
The standard Street Scrambler will be sold in three colours – Jet Black, Matte Khaki Matte Ironstone, and Urban Grey. The limited-edition Street Scrambler Standstorm will be available in Sandstorm Matte Storm Grey paint.
The mechanical specifications on both variants include a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 64.1bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm.
The hardware includes 41mm telescopic front forks, twin-sided rear, a single 310mm disc at the front, a 255mm rotor at the back, and dual-channel ABS. The 19-inch front/17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels are wrapped in Metzeler Tourance tyres.
The new Street Scrambler should carry a marginal price premium over the old model’s Rs 8,55,000 (ex-showroom) tag.
