- Both variants listed on India website
- Sandstorm variant will be available in limited numbers
- Launch date unavailable yet
Triumph Motorcycles India has listed the 2021 Street Scrambler range on its website ahead of its launch. The 2021 range comprises two models – standard and Sandstorm Edition. The latter is a special-edition model that will be available in limited numbers. Triumph Motorcycles will produce just 775 units of the motorcycle worldwide.
Both motorcycles share similar mechanical specifications and underpinnings. The Sandstorm edition, however, further benefits from styling upgrades in the form of a brushed alloy sump guard, a high front mudguard, and a new headlight bezel with a black grille. Apart from the aforementioned features, the two models will be distinguished by their respective colour palette.
Globally, the standard Street Scrambler is available in three colours – Jet Black, Matte Khaki Matte Ironstone, and Urban Grey. We expect to see all the colour options in India. The limited-edition Street Scrambler Sandstorm will be offered in a single paint option – Sandstorm Matte Storm Grey paint.
Mechanical specifications, as mentioned before, will be similar on both variants of the motorcycles. The 2021 Street Scrambler range uses a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that is linked to a five-speed transmission, and it makes 64.1bhp at 7,250rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. The launch details are not available yet, although we may hear an announcement soon.
