Triumph has globally taken the wraps off the 2021 edition of the Street Twin which is one of its highest-selling models. In the international markets, this iteration will start arriving at dealerships from next month, and that will be followed by its India launch. And before the 2021 Street Twin enters India, let’s take a glimpse of some of its stunning pictures.
The updates received by the 2021 Street Twin are mostly cosmetic and subtle. To start with, the headlamp brackets and throttle body covers now sport brushed-aluminum finish.
While the wheels are still 18 and 17-inch units at the front and back, respectively, the alloys now boast a machined finish which makes them look slightly more attractive.
The design of all body panels have remained unchanged but if you look closely, the under seat panels have two cut-outs with mesh-like material sitting inside.
Completing the changes is the ribbed pattern seat housing denser foam for more comfort, and a premium foil badge on the fuel tank.
The 900cc, parallel-twin cylinder HT engine is compliant with the new emissions norms but it produces nearly the same amount of power and torque as before. This 65bhp and 80Nm motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The list of rider aids isn’t long but it does get useful safety features like a switchable traction system, dual-channel ABS and two riding modes including Rain and Road.
Triumph has retained the previous three colour options of the Street Twin which include Cobalt Blue, Jet black and Matte Ironstone.
