TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the 2021 Apache RR 310 that packs several upgrades over the 2020 model. The list of standard updates includes revisions to the instrument cluster and the exhaust canister. The company has also announced optional kits for the Apache RR 310 that bring updated suspension setup and revised ergonomics to the motorcycle. Here we list the top five highlights of the 2021 TVS Apache RR 310.
Design
While TVS Motor Company has added new features to the 2021 Apache RR 310, the styling cues remain unaltered. Thus, this flagship product from the Hosur-based two-wheeler maker continues to feature a twin-pod headlight at the front, a full-fairing design, a step-up saddle, and a side-slung exhaust. The colour options include two choices – Racing Red and Titanium Black. Buyers can purchase the Race Replica graphics and red alloy wheels to further enhance the styling of the Apache RR 310.
Standard Features
For starters, the new Apache RR 310 gets a wave bite key that is claimed to deliver enhanced security and double-up as an in-hand adjuster for damping adjustments. The company has also tweaked the colour-TFT display with the addition of engine rev limit indicator, a day trip meter, an over-speed indicator, and provision to store/display digital documents. The new model further benefits from a new race muffler that is claimed to revise the geometry for higher lean angles and a racier exhaust note. Other features that would be available as standard include full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, four riding modes, and dual-channel ABS.
Optional Kits
TVS Motor Company will offer two optional kits for the new Apache RR 310 – Dynamic and Race. The Dynamic kit brings fully-adjustable front forks and rear mono-shock, and an anti-rust brass coated drive chain. The stock setup on the motorcycle includes upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The Race kit revises the ergonomics for a sportier rider’s triangle. This has been achieved through a race ergo handlebar, raised foot rests, and knurled footpegs. These kits would be available at additional costs. Buyers can customise the motorcycle through TVS Motor Company’s website and book it online.
Engine
The mechanical specifications continue to use a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 33.5bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm. The motor is lined to a six-speed gearbox.
