TVS Motor Company has launched the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V and it has received a serious performance upgrade. So without any delay, we tell you what’s new on the Apache RTR 160 4V.
Increase in power and torque
The most significant difference between the new and previous model is the performance figures. While it continues with the same 160cc, single-cylinder engine, the motor now produces 17.4bhp. In comparison, the older model offered 15.6bhp. Moreover, even the torque has increased from 14.12Nm to 14.73Nm. The five-speed gearbox remains the same.
Lesser weight
Besides the increase in performance, the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is also lighter. While the previous model weighed in at 147kg, the new version tips the scale at 145kg.
Colour options
TVS is offering the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V in a choice of three colour options- Racing Red, Metallic Blue and Knight Black.
Unchanged cycle parts
The Apache RTR 160 4V continues to ride on telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Whereas, the braking duties are taken care of by petal discs on both ends on the top-end variant and a drum brake at the rear on the base version. Both models come with a single-channe ABS.
Pricing
Now, the pricing for the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V starts at Rs 1.07 lakh for the rear drum variant and Rs 1.10 lakh for the disc version.
