- Updated FZS FI gets Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Bluetooth technology

Yamaha Motor India has announced the launch of the 2021 FZ FI and the FZS FI in the country. The new FZ FI is available from Rs 1,03,700 while the prices for the FZS FI start from Rs 1,07,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new FZ FI models will be available in two colours – Racing Blue and Metallic Black. The FZS FI, on the other hand, will be sold in five paint options – Matte Red (new), Dark Matte Blue, Matte Black, Dark Knight, and Vintage Edition.
The FZS FI is also enabled with Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Bluetooth technology that offers access to functions such as answer back, e-lock, locate my bike, hazard, etc. The feature was previously available on the Dark Knight and the Vintage models. The all new FZS FI models also come with a 3D emblem.
The feature list continues to comprise of a single channel ABS, an LED headlight, a 140mm wide rear radial tyre, and a two-level single-piece saddle. The safety net has been further enhanced with the addition of a side stand engine cutoff function. The FZ series already complied with the BS6 emission norms and thus the mechanical specifications remain unaltered. The FZ range is powered by a 149 cc, fuel-injected, BS6-compliant engine that makes 12.2bhp and 13.6Nm.
