Yamaha has updated its Japanese portfolio with the launch of the updated MT-25 and the MT-03. The new MT-25 is available at 6,21,500 yen (Rs 4.20 lakh) while the MT-03 has been priced at 6,54,500 yen (Rs 4.42 lakh).
Apart from the Japanese market, the MT-25 and MT-03 models are also available in European and South-East Asian markets. The Indian launch details are not available, although we do not expect to see the MT-25 and the MT-03 on our shores any time soon.
The 2021 model packs an aggressive front fascia that comprises a low-slung full-LED headlamp with twin-LED DRLs. Other features on the two motorcycles include LED turn indicators, an LED taillight, a digital instrument cluster, and split-style seats. The hardware on the motorcycles includes upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the suspension duties.
In terms of mechanical specifications, the MT-25 uses a 249cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 35bhp while the MT-03 is powered by a 320cc, parallel-twin motor that produces 42bhp.
