- Yamaha R15 updated for 2021
- Gets new colours
- Unlikely to be launched in India
Yamaha has unveiled the 2021 YZF-R125 for international markets.
As part of the update, the fully-faired motorcycle gets two new colours. First up is a Racing Blue colour with grey on the front fender, tail section, and as graphics on the fairing. This paint scheme is inspired by its bigger siblings, the YZF-R1 and YZF-R6. The other colour option consists of full black with white lines on the front fairing and tail section. Yamaha has also kitted this colour with golden forks that increase its appeal. Moreover, the 2021 Yamaha R125 also comes with lever guards as standard accessory.
Apart from this, the Yamaha R125’s 124cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine is now Euro 5-compliant. However, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same in terms of braking, suspension hardware as well as features.
While the 2021 Yamaha YZF-R125 will be available globally by the end of this year, it is unlikely to make its way to India anytime soon. Currently, the R15 V3 is the Japanese manufacturer’s entry-level motorcycle in the fully-fairing segment in India.
