Yamaha has announced the 2021 YZF-R3 for the Japanese market and the motorcycle will be available in the country from January 2021. The latest iteration of the 320cc, parallel-twin motorcycle gets styling revisions in the form of updated colours. The 2021 Yamaha YZF-R3 will be offered in three colour options in the Japanese market – Cyan Metallic, Deep Purplish Blue Metallic, and Matte Dark Grey.
Other styling cues and features remain unaltered, and the 2021 YZF-R3 continues to use a twin-pod headlight, a muscular design, clip-on handlebar, full-fairing setup, and a step-up seat setup.
The feature list on the motorcycle comprises of an LED headlight, an LED taillight, and a digital instrument cluster.
The optional accessories that Yamaha offers in the Japanese market include KYB special suspension setup, sportier windscreen, tank pad, and a graphics protector.
The 2021 YZF-R3 continues to use the 320cc, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed transmission, the motor makes 41.5bhp at 10,750rpm and 29Nm at 9,000rpm.
The 2021 Yamaha YZF-R3 has been priced at 6,87,500 yen (approximately Rs 4.90 lakh) in Japan. It will be available for sale from 15 January, 2021.
