Yamaha has unveiled the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition of the 2021 YZF-R3 for the international markets. The motorcycle has been priced at USD 5,599 (Rs 4.11 lakh). Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the 2021 Yamaha YZF-R3 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition.
The Yamaha YZF-R3 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition gets a YZR-M1 (MotoGP Factory Team bike) inspired paint job that comprises of black and blue colours.
The special edition motorcycle also features special livery that includes Monster Energy logo and ENEOS decals on the fairing.
The changes are limited to cosmetic upgrades in the form of the paint job and decals. The styling cues, on the other hand, continue to comprise of a twin-pod headlight, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, and split-style seats.
The feature list includes an LED headlight, an LED taillight and a digital instrument cluster.
Similar to the styling, the mechanical specifications too are identical to the standard motorcycle. Thus, the YZF-R3 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition continues to use a 321cc, inline twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine.
The hardware includes upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. Braking setup has a 298mm disc at the front and a 220mm rotor at the back. The safety net includes dual-channel ABS.
