BMW Motorrad has updated its Indian portfolio with the launch of the 2022 F 900 XR Pro. The adventure sports tourer, which will be available as completely built-up units (CBU), has been priced at Rs 12.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The bookings for the motorcycle have opened at BMW Motorrad dealerships and the deliveries are scheduled to commence in June 2022.
Potential buyers can opt for customised and flexible financial solutions via the BMW Financial Services India. The Indian arm of the Bavarian manufacturer will offer a standard warranty for three years/unlimited kilometres. This can be further extended to the fourth and fifth year for an additional amount.
The 2022 model retains the styling cues from its predecessor. Thus, the 2022 F 900 XR continues to feature a twin-pod headlight, a semi-fairing design, a tinted windscreen, an engine cowl, a step-up seat, and a side-slung exhaust. The feature list includes full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen. The electronic aids comprise ABS, traction control, riding modes pro, keyless ride, engine brake control, adaptive cornering lights, and heated grips.
The motorcycle is powered by a BS6-compliant, 895cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine that makes 103.2bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 92Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The company claims a 0-100kmph acceleration timing of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of over 200kmph.
Buyers can further customise the motorcycle with the optional equipment and original BMW Motorcycle accessories that would be available via the BMW Motorrad dealerships.
