- BMW F850 GS and GSA updated for 2022
- Get new colours
- Is likely to be launched in India by end of 2021
BMW Motorrad has revealed the 2022 editions of the F850 GS and F850 GS Adventure for international markets. However, we can expect the brand to launch the two motorcycles in India by the end of 2021.
Now, for the model year update, the F850 GS and F850 GS Adventure get new colours. The F850 GS gets a new Triple Black with Black Storm Metallic colour. BMW has also added knuckle guards as standard to the motorcycle. However, the 40 Years Edition colour scheme has been dropped.
On the other hand, the F850 GS Adventure gets two new colours. There is the Triple Black, like its sibling, and a Light White colour. And just like the standard F850, the GSA variant’s 40 Years Edition has been discontinued for 2022. Even the Black Storm Metallic and Ice Grey colour has been removed.
Nevertheless, the bodywork, features and drive train on both bikes remain the same. The F850 range is more off-road focused compared to the F750 GS and sports spoke wheels, a taller windscreen, knuckle guards and fork protectors. However, the F850 GSA takes it a step further and offers a larger fuel tank and some added features as well. But both come powered by the same 853cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out 92.5bhp and 92Nm.
