- Official launch could be around the corner
- Gets three new paint schemes
- Remains unchanged in terms of hardware
BMW Motorrad revealed the 2022 edition of its smallest adventure tourer, the G 310 GS, for the international markets earlier this month. Now, it seems the India launch of the bike isn’t very far either since dealers have started accepting bookings for the 2022 G 310 GS in the country.
Similar to its naked sibling, the G 310 GS has received new colour options as a part of the new model year update. These new paint schemes include Version Basic Cosmic Black 3, Style Sport Polar White with Racing Blue Metallic, and Style Rallye Kalamata Metallic Matt. Once these are brought to India, the older colour options will be discontinued here.
The 2022 G 310 GS will remain the same as the outgoing model in all other aspects. The bike comes equipped with an LCD dash, full-LED lighting, an assist and slipper clutch, adjustable levers, and dual-channel ABS. As for the hardware package, it rides on a 19-17-inch alloy wheel combination with USD forks and a monoshock, while the braking setup includes a single disc at both ends. Powering the bike is a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill that’s good for 33.5bhp and 28Nm.
The existing iteration of the BMW G 310 GS is priced at Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 edition, meanwhile, could be slightly more expensive. It locks horns with the KTM 390 Adventure in India.
