BMW Motorrad has announced that it has commenced the bookings for the 2022 G 310 R in the Indian market. The changes to the 2022 model are limited to cosmetic upgrades and the latest iteration of the entry-level naked roadster from the Bavarian brand is available in two new colour options – Style Passion and Cosmic Black Two.

The Style Passion colour theme brings a red shade for the chassis and the wheels while the bodywork features a white base paint with highlights of red and blue. The Cosmic Black Two, on the other hand, features a black finish to the chassis, wheels, and bodywork. The company has discontinued the Polar White paint option from the international markets and it will most likely be dropped from the Indian market as well.

The changes are limited to the colour palette. Other specifications and features, on the other hand, remain unaltered. Thus, the 2022 BMW G 310 R continues to feature full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, a step-up saddle, and a side slung exhaust. The motorcycle already complied with the BS6 emission norms. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces 33.5bhp of power and 28Nm of peak torque.

The company is yet to update its India website with the new paint options and their prices. We may see a marginal price increase over the current model’s Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) tag.
