Ducati has unveiled the updated Hypermotard 950 range. The 2022 range will be available in the international markets from June onwards. We expect the Italian manufacturer to offer the same in the Indian market as well although the launch details are yet to be known. Till we divulge the remaining information, you can check out the image gallery of the 2022 Hypermotard 950 range.
Starting with the design, the supermoto model surely looks quite sharp and beefy with a beak upfront, graphics across its tank extensions and double exhaust under the seat. There are three different variants on offer and each one gets a separate colour like Ducati Red, Graffiti livery and new SP livery.
The Hypermotard 950 range comes with features like all LED lights, DRLs at the front, 4.3-inch TFT dash, three riding modes, ABS, Ducati traction control (DTC) EVO, Ducati Quick Shift EVO system (DQS EVO) with an up/down function, wheelie control, tapered handlebars, USB power socket and carbon fibre components.
Powering the bike is a 937cc Ducati Testastretta 11-degree V-twin-cylinder Euro5 compliant engine that churns out 112.4bhp at 9,000rpm and 96Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm. All this power and torque is taken to its wheels via a six speed gearbox.
The engine is mounted in a steel trellis frame with variable-section tubes. The ride here is taken care of by a 48 mm Öhlins fork at the front and Öhlins shock absorber at the rear. The braking duty is handled by 320mm disc at the front and 245mm disc at the rear gripped by a single Brembo calliper.
The Hypermotard 950 SP rides on Marchesini forged rims with three Y-spokes, covered by Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP racing tyres. Likewise, the wheels are wrapped in 120/70 section upfront and 180/55 section rear tyres.
