- 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S enters India
- Gets a new Iceberg White colour option
- Features and accessory list also updated
Ducati India has launched the 2022 Multistrada V4S in the new Iceberg White colour option with a price tag of Rs 27 lakh (ex-showroom). That makes it around Rs 1.5 lakh more expensive than the existing colour options in the S variant. Besides the new colour, the 2022 Multistrada V4S also brings in other updates like minimum preload setup and changes in the infotainment system. Moreover, the accessory catalogue gets two new elements - lowered suspension kit and aluminium bags.
The rest of the aspects of the motorcycle remain unchanged. This, the Multistrada V4S is powered by a 1,158cc, Granturismo V4 engine that churns out 167.6bhp at 10,750rpm and 121Nm of peak torque at 8,750rpm. The motorcycle rides on wire-spoke wheels suspended by Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO (DSS) with a travel of 220mm at both ends. Also, the fuel tank of this variant boasts a capacity of as large as 30-litre!
Typical of a Ducati, the Multistrada V4S is loaded with electronics to the brim and the most interesting safety features are Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). The motorcycle also gets a bunch of other rider aids like four ride modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro), cornering ABS, cornering lights, wheelie control, and traction control. Furthermore, there’s a sizeable 6.5-inch full-colour TFT console which gives you access to navigation, calls, and music.
In India, the Ducati Multistrada V4S competes against the likes of the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure, Triumph Tiger 1200, and Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.
