Ducati India is set to launch the updated Panigale V4 range in India this month. The lineup could comprise three models: Panigale V4, Panigale V4S, and Panigale V4 SP2. That said, Ducati has recently employed notable updates to its flagship supersports regarding features and mechanical bits.
Powered by a 1,103cc Desmosidici V4 liquid-cooled motor, the Ducati Panigale V4 makes 215bhp and123.6Nm. It's mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter. Even the gearbox has been updated with a taller first two gears and the sixth gear. Moreover, the 2022 Ducati V4 is also set to bring in new software updates for the engine brake control, quickshifter, radiator fan, and traction control.
The Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 is based on the base model but comes loaded with carbon fibre parts, higher spec Brembo brakes, magnesium wheels, and the same dry clutch as the Ducati World SuperBike Racing model, and billet machined parts. It also benefits from an Akrapovic full system titanium exhaust which helps the bike dish out 228bhp and 131Nm.
Currently, Ducati has the 2021 Panigale V4 and the 2021 Panigale V4S on sale in India. The asking price for the standard model is set to Rs 23.50 lakh and the S trim costs 28.40 lakh (both ex-showroom Delhi).
