Honda 2Wheelers India has launched the 2022 CBR650R in our market at Rs 9,35,427 (ex-showroom, Haryana). The latest iteration of the motorcycle is available in two colours – Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
While the colour options are similar to the 2021 model, the new CBR650R gets new graphics. The Grand Prix Red features red colour as the base paint along with graphics in black, grey, and white. The Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic option gets a black base colour along with highlights of orange.
The changes are limited to styling upgrades. The feature list and the specifications, on the other hand, remain unaltered. Thus, the 2022 CBR650R continues to use a BS6-compliant 648.72cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine that produces 85.82bhp at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm. The six-speed gearbox benefits from an assist and slipper clutch.
The feature list retains full-LED lighting, an LCD instrument cluster, a dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) technology.
