Honda launched its most luxurious two-wheeler offering in India in the form of the 2022 Gold Wing Tour. The Japanese tourer is tech-laden, looks magnificent and carries an eye-watering price tag. Let’s take look at its top five highlights. 

Design & Ergonomics

The 2022 Honda Gold Wing Tour has retained its imposing tourer stance. It’s 905mm wide and has a wheelbase of 1,695mm. You get an equally broad fascia housing the LED headlights topped by an electronically adjustable windscreen. The rearview mirrors seem to be wide enough and have the turn indicators integrated into them. Owing to its tourer purpose, the Honda Gold Wing Tour gets a relaxed riding position and the pillion too gets ample seating space with proper back support. 

Engine 

This behemoth of a tourer employs an equally large motor. It’s a liquid-cooled flat six-cylinder 1,833cc motor that’s tuned to dish out 124.7bhp and 170Nm. Honda offers the Gold Wing Tour with a DCT only.  

Features 

The Gold Wing Tour packs a boatload of features. Apart from LED lights, you get the aforementioned electronically adjustable windscreen, airbag, a seven-inch full TFT with Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, auto-cancelling indicators, tyre pressure readout, navigation, speakers with passenger side audio control and gyrocompass.  

Apart from that, the Gold Wing Tour gets abundant storage space too. The top box has a capacity of 50 to 61 litres and you can get the panniers too for extra storage space.  

Hardware 

The 2022 Honda Gold Wing Tour gets an Aluminium twin-tube frame suspended on the double-wishbone front suspension and a linked rear shock. It rides on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 130/70 front and 200/55 rear tyre. The braking hardware comprises of dual 320mm front discs and a 316mm single rear unit. 

Price 

Honda has priced the 2022 Gold Wing Tour at Rs 39,20,000 (ex-showroom Gurugram) and will sell it from its BigWing network only. It’s offered in a single paint scheme only – Gunmetal Black Metallic.
