- Honda Rebel 250 updated for 2022
- Gets a new colour
- Unlikely to be launched here
Honda has taken the wraps off the 2022 Rebel 250 for the Japanese market. The Rebel 250, for those not in the know, is the smallest motorcycle in the range which includes the Rebel 500 and Rebel 1100 as well.
Now, for 2022 the Rebel 250 has been adorned with a new colour called Pearl Spencer Blue. This dark, metallic blue colour features on the fuel-tank as well as the rear fender while the bike’s frame and mechanicals are finished in black. However, this colour scheme is only available in the top-of-the-line Rebel 250 S Edition. What makes this version special is the diamond-stitched seat, fork covers as well as a headlamp cowl as standard fitment.
Besides the new colour option, the Honda Rebel 250 remains the same. It comes powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 26bhp and 22Nm. Whereas its list of features includes LED lighting and a fully digital instrumentation.
Although, the most important question is whether it will be launched in India? While the Rebell 250 seems like a promising motorcycle, Honda would not be able to price it competitively unless fitted with locally-made parts. Nevertheless, the brand is looking to launch the Rebel 500 in the country sometime in early-2022.
