2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 India Launch: Top 5 Highlights

Kawasaki India has announced the launch of the 2022 Ninja 300 in our market. This latest iteration of the motorcycle packs a styling upgrade in the form of new colours. It has also become more expensive than before. Here we list the top five highlights of the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300.

Colours and Graphics

The only change to the 2022 Ninja 300 is the revision to its graphics. The colour options remain identical to the 2021 version. Thus, the 2022 Ninja 300 is available in three colours – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony. While the colours are similar, the Candy Lime Green and Ebony paint options now feature newer graphics. The revised graphics are visible on the fairing and the fuel tank. The paint theme and the graphics on the Lime Green colour, on the other hand, remain identical to the 2021 version.

Design and Features

The design remains unaltered, and the 2022 Ninja 300 continues to feature a twin-pod headlight, full-fairing design, sporty windscreen, muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, Y-shaped alloy wheels, and side-slung exhaust. The feature list, too, is identical to the 2021 version and this latest iteration of the Ninja 300 continues to use a halogen headlight setup, an LED taillight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a dual-channel ABS.

Engine

The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300, similar to its 2021 version, uses the BS6-compliant 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine produces 38.4bhp of power and 27Nm of peak torque. The gearbox retains the assist and slipper clutch mechanism.

Hardware

The suspension tasks are handled by telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The braking duties are performed by single, petal-type rotors on both ends while the safety net, as mentioned earlier, comprises dual-channel ABS.

Price

The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is available at Rs 3.37 lakh as against Rs 3.24 lakh previously. The bookings for the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 have opened across India.
