Kawasaki has announced the launch of the 2022 Ninja ZX-14R in North America with prices starting from USD 15,399 (Rs 11.25 lakh). While the motorcycle has been discontinued in India, it is available in select international markets. The 2022 model features a styling upgrade in the form of an updated paint scheme, and here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the motorcycle.
The 2022 model retains the Pearl Storm Grey/Metallic Diablo Black paint job, although the motorcycle now gets red highlights on the fairing. The Ninja branding on the fairing gets a grey colour too. In comparison, the 2021 version of the motorcycle featured a green colour for the graphics and the Ninja branding.
The styling cues remain unaltered, and the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R continues to pack an aggressive design. The motorcycle features a split-style headlight setup with an air-intake in the centre, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, a tinted windscreen, twin-sided exhaust, and a pillion seat cowl.
The electronic rider aids on the motorcycle include selectable power modes, traction control, and ABS.
The mechanical specifications retain the 1,441cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is linked to a six-speed transmission.
The suspension setup on the motorcycle comprises 43mm upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock – both adjustable for preload, compression, and rebound. The rear suspension setup also includes a ride height adjustability function.
The braking tasks are handled by twin 310mm discs with four-piston Brembo M50 Monobloc callipers at the front and a single 250mm rotor with a twin-piston calliper at the back.
