- 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S available in Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray
- No changes to the mechanical specifications
- 649cc engine continues to make 59.94bhp and 62.4Nm
Kawasaki India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the 2022 Vulcan S in our market at Rs 6.10 lakh. The middleweight cruiser motorcycle will now be available in Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray colour. The motorcycle features a silver and gray colour on the fuel tank and on the radiator shrouds. The company has discontinued the Metallic Flat Raw Graystone paint.
The Vulcan S already complied with the BS6 emission norms, and thus there are no changes to the mechanical specifications. Thus, the motorcycle continues to use a 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 59.94bhp at 7,500rpm and 62.4Nm of peak torque at 6,600rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The feature list, too, remains unaltered and the motorcycle retains a halogen headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster with gear position indicator, 18-inch front/17-inch rear wheels, a 14-litre fuel tank, an under-engine exhaust canister, and relaxed ergonomics.
The only direct rival to the Kawasaki Vulcan S is the newly launched Benelli 502C cruiser that is available at Rs 4.98 lakh.
