- 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S unveiled internationally
- Gets two new colour schemes
- Could be launched in India later this year
The Kawasaki Vulcan S has been updated for 2022 and introduced in international markets. The cruiser style motorcycle receives two new colour schemes as part of the model year update.
First up is the Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray with Matte Graphite Gray paint that combines the two shades of gray and incorporates green highlights on the tank and rim tapes. Then there is the interestingly name Pearl Robotic White that is essentially a metallic white paint with hints of blue gradient on the radiator guard and fuel tank graphics. That said, the fuel tank also sports a bold ‘S’ graphic. However, apart from the introduction of the new colours, the Kawasaki Vulcan S remains the same as the model sold in India. It comes powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 59.9bhp and 62.4Nm. It also continues to have the same styling with the unique looking headlamp and teardrop-shaped fuel tank. And in terms of features, the motorcycle does seem plain jane as it only comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS.
The 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S will make its way to international dealerships in the coming months but is only likely to be launched in India late this year or early 2022. It competes against the likes of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in the country.
