- 2022 Kawasaki Z900 launched
- Comes in a new colour option
- Remains unaltered mechanically
India Kawasaki Motors has launched the new 2022 Z900 with a price tag of Rs 8.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model year is now available in a new colour option – Metallic Spark Black and that’s the only update it has received. The 2022 Z900 has remained the same as the previous version in all other aspects.
This naked street bike from Kawasaki received a major update just last year. It brought along revised styling, new features and electronic aids along with some hardware updates. The motorcycle features Kawasaki's traditional Sugomi styling with a hunched down stance comprising a low-slung headlamp, muscular fuel tank section, and a raked tail section. Complementing its aggressive design are modern features like a full LED lighting setup and a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch colour TFT screen.
Propelling the Z900 is a 948cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that pumps out 123.6bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 98.6Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. For keeping the rider safe, the bike incorporates traction control, two power modes, and four riding modes. Based on a steel trellis frame, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends that are shod with Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 tyres.
The deliveries of the 2022 Kawasaki Z900 are set to begin by the end of October 2021.
