- Unofficial pre-bookings open
- Likely to carry same price tag as outgoing version
- Motorcycle has started reaching dealerships
Our sources have indicated that the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure Indian launch is likely to happen in March this year. The motorcycles have started to arrive at the dealerships in India and the unofficial pre-bookings have already commenced. We contacted a few dealerships for the pricing, however, they are not available at the moment. We expect the 2022 model to carry the same ex-showroom price tag as the outgoing version as an introductory offer before KTM India revises them.
Internationally, the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure is available in two colours and we expect to see both paint options in the Indian market as well. Other changes to the 2022 version include improvements to the electronics and improvements to the quality and robustness of the alloy wheels.
The mechanical specifications, features, and hardware remain unaltered. Thus, the 2022 model retains split-style LED headlight at the front, a short windscreen and air deflectors, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust. The motorcycle also retains the BS6-compliant, 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 42.3bhp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
