- Officially launched earlier this month
- Comes in two new colour options
- No change in pricing
The 2022 edition of the KTM 390 Duke has started reaching dealerships in India after it was officially launched earlier this month. The motorcycle now comes in two new colour options namely Dark Galvano and Liquid Metal and both cost the same at Rs 2.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Liquid Metal is the more vibrant trim of the two paint schemes with an orange headlamp cowl, tail, and fuel tank along with grey tank extensions and front fender. The Dark Galvano colour, meanwhile, looks quite stealthy with black and grey bodywork accompanied by an orange main frame. Apart from new colours, the 2022 390 Duke remains identical to the previous model on all fronts.
Powering the motorcycle is a punchy 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 42.9bhp and 37Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch along with a quick-shifter. The hardware package is equally impressive with WP USD forks and a monoshock, and ByBre disc brakes at both ends. On the feature front, you get a Bluetooth-enabled TFT screen, a full-LED lighting system, and a 13.4-litre fuel tank.
In India, the only real contender to the KTM 390 Duke is the BMW G 310 R which is priced at Rs 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
