- KTM RC 125 launched in October
- Priced at Rs 1.82 lakh
- Gets cosmetic and feature upgrades
The all-new KTM RC 125 was launched in India back in October alongside the RC 200. And now, a couple of months later the motorcycle has made its way to authorized dealerships across the country.
KTM has priced the 2022 RC 125 at Rs 1.82 lakh, ex-showroom, making it just Rs 2,000 more expensive than the previous version. But for the little extra money, KTM has overhauled the motorcycle with a new styling that has been inspired by the KTM RC8. Even the distinctive twin-projector headlamps have been replaced by a a single halogen unit with integrated turn signals. In addition to that, the sub-frame has been tweaked with the pillion seat now more spacious and flat.
These revisions have resulted in a 3.4kg drop in weight even though the RC 125 now sports a bigger 13.7-litre fuel tank. And underneath the new design is a minutely tweaked 124cc, single-cylinder engine with a larger airbox that is said to offer better lower-end performance. In terms of features, the 2022 KTM RC 125 comes with a new LCD instrument cluster in place of the dated orange-backlit unit. Moreover, KTM has also focused on improving the braking with a bigger 320mm disc up front. As for competition, the KTM RC 125 goes up against the Yamaha R15 S in the country.
