- Bookings open across India
- Available in two colours
- Misses adjustable suspension setup
KTM India has announced the launch of the 2022 RC390. The latest iteration of the supersport model has been launched at an ex-showroom, Delhi price tag of Rs 3,13,922. The bookings for the motorcycle have commenced across India.
The 2022 model gets several styling and feature updates over its predecessor. The all-new design includes a single-pod LED headlight, revised bodywork, a 13.7-litre fuel tank, and an updated seat design.
The feature list comprises full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. Unlike the international-spec model, the India-bound KTM RC390 misses adjustable suspension setup. Thus, the 2022 RC390 uses WP-sourced upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The braking tasks are handled by single discs on both ends.
The enhanced safety net on the 2022 model includes traction control system, lean-sensitive ABS, and quick-shifter as standard. Buyers can opt between two colours – KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Orange.
The mechanical specifications retain the BS6-compliant, 373cc state-of-the-art, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine with twin overhead camshafts, four valves, and electronic fuel injection. Further, the 2022 model gets a 40 per cent bigger airbox and new engine mapping that are aimed to increase torque and overall rideability.
