- 2022 KTM RC 390 launched in India
- Comes in two dual-tone paint schemes
- KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Orange
After months of delay, KTM India has finally brought the new 2022 RC 390 to our shores. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 3.14 lakh (ex-showroom) which is about Rs 36,000 more expensive than its predecessor. What you get for that premium are two swanky new colour options, besides a host of other major updates.
Both the new colour options of the 2022 RC 390, which include KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Orange, sport a bold dual-tone finish. The former boasts orange and blue shades on the fairing, fuel tank, and tail section. Whereas, the latter offers orange coloured faring and fuel tank with a huge black ‘KTM’ decal running across the bodywork. The new paint schemes go well with the fresh styling which makes it look bigger and more muscular.
KTM has bestowed the new RC 390 with a host of features and hardware updates. The motorcycle now gets a Bluetooth-enabled full-colour TFT console, full-LED lighting, a traction control system, cornering ABS, and a quick shifter as standard! For a longer riding range, the fuel tank capacity has also gone substantially up to 13.7-litre.
The engine is the same 373cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine with twin overhead camshafts which makes 42.9bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. However, the airbox is bigger by 40 per cent while the engine has also been mapped for different torque distribution and better rideability.
