KTM India has listed the price for the 2022 RC 390 on its website. The motorcycle carries a significant price increase over its predecessor, and it has been listed at Rs 3,13,922 as against the outgoing version’s Rs 2,77,635 tag (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
The company’s India website lists adjustable WP APEX front forks and WP APEX mono-shock. with it The specifications, on the other hand, do not mention the adjustability function for the front forks. Considering the price increase of over Rs 36,000, the India-spec model may get the adjustable suspension setup.
Other hardware will comprise a 320mm single disc with a radially mounted four-piston-fixed ByBre calliper at the front, a 230mm disc brake with a single-piston fixed calliper at the rear, a bolted sub-frame, lighter and stiffer alloy wheels, and a 40 per cent larger airbox. The feature list will include a slipper clutch, full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, traction control, cornering ABS, and a quickshifter.
The mechanical specifications will retain the BS6-compliant 373.23cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that makes 42.9bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. Further, the styling upgrades include a brand-new design and two colours – KTM Electronic Orange and KTM Factory Racing Blue. The KTM Electronic Orange features a single-tone finish. The dual-tone version, in contrast, uses a combination of blue and orange colours.
