- 2022 Suzuki Burgman 200 launched in America at USD 4,999
- Gets a new colour scheme
- Does not get any changes to the design or the features
Suzuki has announced the launch of the 2021 iteration of the Burgman 200 in America. The changes to the 2021 model are limited to cosmetic upgrades, and the Burgman 200 is now available in Metallic Matte Stellar Blue paint. The 2022 Suzuki Burgman 200 has been launched in the American market at USD 4,999 (Rs 3.66 lakh).
While the 2022 Burgman 200 has received a new paint scheme, it continues to carry forward the design of the previous-year scooter. Thus, the maxi-scooter retains an apron-mounted twin-pod headlight assembly, dual tail lights, a tinted windscreen, split-style footboard, step-up seat, 41-litre under-seat storage, and body-coloured pillion grab rails.
The mechanical specifications retain the 200cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is linked to an automatic continuous variable transmission. The hardware on the scooter comprises telescopic forks at the front and a single-shock at the back to perform the suspension tasks. The anchoring setup includes disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net is handled by dual-channel ABS.
The Burgman 200 is not likely to come to the Indian market. However, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer offers a smaller variant of the maxi-scooter in our market, the Burgman Street.
