TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the 2022 Apache RTR 200 4V in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 1,33,840. The motorcycle is available in two variants and three colour choices. The variants include a single-channel ABS version and a dual-channel ABS model. The paint options for the motorcycle comprise Gloss Black, Pearl White, and Matte Blue colours.
The base model (single-channel ABS) is available for Rs 1,33,840 while the premium version (dual-channel ABS) has been listed at Rs 1,38,890.
The 2022 iteration of the Apache RTR 200 4V gets a new headlamp design that is similar to the unit on the Apache RTR 160 4V. The new setup includes an integrated Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) design instead of the twin-pod units on the 2021 model. The changes to the 2022 model are limited to the updated headlight setup. Everything else remains similar to the old motorcycle. Thus, the motorcycle retains three ride modes (Sport, Urban, and Rain), preload-adjustable Showa front forks, a Showa rear mono-shock, TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity, and adjustable brakes and clutch levers.
The mechanical specifications retain the 197.75cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor on the Apache RTR 200 4V is tuned to deliver 20.54bhp at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm of peak torque at 7,800rpm.
