TVS Motor Company recently updated the Apache RTR 200 4V for 2022, so here we tell you all that you need to know about the motorcycle.
New headlamp
A few months after adorning the Apache RTR 160 4V with a brand new design for the headlamp unit, TVS has decided to follow the same for the RTR 200 4V. Hence, the 2022 model gets a slightly less angular, headlamp. Gone are the claw-like LED DRLs that are now replaced by a single LED DRL integrated into the unit. Although it continues to come with full-LED lighting.
Slight hike in pricing
The new headlamp setup has inadvertently resulted in a hike in the price of the Apache RTR 200 4V. The motorcycle, which is available in two versions costs Rs 1,33,840 for the single-channel ABS version and Rs 1,38,890 for the dual-channel version. These prices are a premium of Rs 775 over the previous models.
No change to mechanicals
TVS has kept the tried and tested 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. The motor churns out 20.5bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm of peak torque at 7,800rpm and it comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
A healthy list of features
Now, apart from the full-LED headlamp, the Apache RTR 200 4V boasts of three ride modes- Sport, Urban, and Rain as well as preload-adjustable Showa front suspension, Showa rear mono-shock, and adjustable brakes and clutch levers. In addition to that, it gets the TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity along with an LCD instrument cluster that shows a variety of information.
Colour options
TVS is offering the 2022 RTR 200 4V in a choice of three colours- Gloss Black, Pearl White, and Matte Blue.
