What’s new in the 2023 Suzuki Avenis’ engine specifications?
The 2023 Suzuki Avenis continues to use the 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor from the BS6 version. This maximum output and peak torque, similar to the BS6 version, are rated at 8.5bhp at 6,750rpm and 10Nm at 5,500rpm, respectively. However, this model gets an OBD2-A On-board Diagnostics System. This helps in detecting system failures and illuminates the console lights to indicate faults in the vehicle system.

The suspension setup on both variants includes telescopic front forks and a single rear spring. Then, the braking tasks are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum setup at the rear, while the safety net comprises a combined braking system. The scooter rides on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels that are shod in 90/90-section and 90/100-section tyres, respectively. It boasts a 5.2-litre fuel tank and tips the weighing scale at 106kg (kerb).
