Bajaj has launched the 2023 Chetak Premium in India at Rs 1,51,910 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). It’s received an updated and larger instrument console and three new paint schemes for 2023: Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue, and Satin Black.
With the said changes, the Chetak gets a two-toned seat, body-coloured rear view mirrors, and a satin grab rail. Even the headlight casing and blinkers are draped in Charcoal Black.
2023 Chetak Premium Motor and Battery
Bajaj has powered the Chetak electric with a 3.8kWh motor linked to a 3kWh battery. Its claimed top speed and maximum range are 60kmph and 107km (tested), respectively. The charging time for the Chetak’s battery using a normal charger is four hours and Bajaj claims that the unit should last up to seven years or about 70,000km before it needs replacement.
2023 Chetak Premium Features
Along with LED illumination, the Bajaj Chetak also features a digital console with smartphone connectivity. It gets a speedometer, odometer, trip meter two riding modes (sport and eco), DTE readout, and smartphone connectivity too. The latter gives you access to parameters like the scooter’s location, routes taken, riding score, top speed, and more.
2023 Chetak Premium Hardware
Along with the metal bodywork, the Chetak e-scooter gets a single front spring and a rear monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a single front disc and rear drum brake with CBS. It rides on 12-inch alloys wrapped in road-biased rubber.

Bajaj has priced the Chetak electric scooter at Rs 1,51,910 (ex-showroom Bengaluru) for the Premium model and Rs 1,21,933 (ex-showroom Bengaluru) for the outgoing model.
