Bajaj has re-launched the Pulsar 220F in India, courtesy of the demand from various parts of the country. The Chakan-based bikemaker has launched it silently and here’s what we know about it.
The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets the same design
Even in its latest form, the Pulsar 220F retains the same design as before. It gets a sleek fascia, sharp side panels, and a slim overall build. The clip-on handlebars, split seat, and the two-piece grab rail at the rear are also unaltered.
Has Bajaj made any changes to the Pulsar 220F’s motor?
The only major change made to the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is the OBD-2 (onboard diagnostics) norm compliance. It can now track real-time emissions and not just lab-tested results. Apart from that, the 220cc single-cylinder motor with its output of 20.11bhp and 18.55Nm is the same as before. It’s linked to a five-speed gearbox.
The 2023 Pulsar 220F’s hardware remains unchanged
For 2023, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F rides on telescopic front forks and a pair of gas-charged rear shocks. Meanwhile, the braking hardware consists of a single front and rear disc brake with ABS. It’s mounted on 17-inch alloys wrapped in road-biased tyres.
What features does the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F pack?
On the feature front, the 2023 model gets a projector headlamp with DRLs and bulb indicators. As for its instrument console, the Pulsar 220F packs a semi-digital instrument console with an analog dial for the tachometer and a digital screen for the fuel level indicator, speedometer, and more.
How much does the updated Pulsar 220F cost?
Well, for 2023, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F is priced at Rs. 1,37,126 (ex-showroom Delhi). Compared to the older model which was priced at Rs. 1.34 lakh, the new one costs about Rs. 3,000 more.
