Bajaj updated the NS160 with USD front forks and a few other tweaks for 2023, a few months back. We tested the bike recently and you can read all about it in the road test review of the Bajaj Pulsar NS160. However, in this story, we’ll give you a brief overview of the bike.
What are the specifications and fuel economy of the 2023 NS160?
The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is powered by a 160.3cc, single-cylinder motor that’s linked to a five-speed gearbox. It dishes out 17.03bhp and 14.6Nm. The NS’ engine revs very quickly and has most of the torque around the mid-range. The gearbox, too, shifts slick and responds well. As for its fuel efficiency, the NS returned 52.2kmpl during the BikeWale FE run. Pair this mileage with the NS160’s 12-litre fuel tank, and it’s good for about 600km in one go. This a fairly impressive figure and the stops for fuelling would be quite less.
What are the colour options available for the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160?
Bajaj offers the NS160 in four colour options – Ebony Black, Pearl Metallic White, Pewter Grey, and Cocktail Wine Red. All these options are dual-tone paint schemes with a mix of light and dark colours for a contrasting effect.
What are the variants, prices, and rivals of the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160?
Bajaj now offers the NS160 in a single variant, the dual-channel ABS model. It’s priced at Rs. 1,36,836 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The NS160 rivals the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, and its sibling, the Pulsar N160.
