Bajaj Auto has updated the colour palette for its 200cc roadster-segment motorcycle, the Pulsar NS200, in the Indian market with the addition of the Cocktail Wine Red and Pewter Grey paint themes. With these, the Pulsar NS200 is now available in four colours – Ebony Black, Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red, and Pewter Grey.
All colour options feature identical graphics that are visible on the headlight cowl, fuel tank, engine cowl, and rear panels. A 3D ‘Pulsar’ badge is visible on the fuel tank while the shrouds feature a ‘200’ decal. Meanwhile, the design, hardware, and specifications are identical across the range. Thus, the 2023 Pulsar NS200 retains an aggressive design for the headlight with twin DRLs, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, a compact exhaust canister, and 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends.
The hardware on the latest iteration of the Pulsar NS200 includes upside-down front forks as against the conventional telescopic units on the previous version. Meanwhile, the rear retains the preload-adjustable mono-shock. Then, while the braking setup retains disc brakes on both wheels, the safety net now comprises a dual-channel ABS.
The mechanical specifications include a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that delivers 24.1bhp at 9,750rpm and 18.74Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. This engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The Pulsar NS200 rivals the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Honda Hornet 2.0 in the Indian market. This Bajaj product is available in a single variant and is priced at Rs. 1,49,363 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
