- Gets upside-down front forks
- Dual-channel ABS finally included
- Price may go up by Rs 10,000-15,000
Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the 2023 Pulsar NS200 in India with a couple of changes. The motorcycle has already been teased and it’s expected to be officially launched soon. While the launch is awaited, the motorcycle has already started arriving at dealerships, as per a video that surfaced on YouTube.
The biggest change observed in the bike is the replacement of conventional telescopic forks with more premium upside-down forks up front. Notably, the iteration of the bike which Bajaj sells in Brazil is already equipped with USDs. While the NS200 was already a good handler, the inclusion of USDs should aid in better control and stability. Moreover, Bajaj has also finally incorporated dual-channel ABS in place of a single-channel system found in its predecessor.
The rest of the specifications of the 2023 Pulsar NS200 are likely to remain unchanged. It might continue to be powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 24.13bhp and 18.74Nm and works with a five-speed gearbox. While the specifications might remain unaltered, Bajaj will most likely include the OBD2 system which will be mandatory from 1 April 2023. As for the features, the aforementioned YouTube videi shows that it continues to get a semi-digital console and bulb-type headlamp and turn indicators. Similarly, even the design of the bike has been kept untouched.
The outgoing version of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom). With the aforementioned changes, the pricing may go up by around Rs 10,000-15,000.
