The Pulsar NS200 was recently launched with a few mechanical and cosmetic tweaks for 2023. And with the updated model, came a new price tag. So, let’s closely examine what’s new on the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
New Suspension
One of the most significant changes for the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 comes in the form of USD front forks. The previous model rode on telescopic units, whereas the 2023 model gets a slightly sophisticated setup. That said, the gas-charged monoshock has been carried over.
Enhanced Rider aids
Along with the new strut, Bajaj has equipped the NS200 with a dual-channel ABS for 2023. Even the previously used ByBre braking system has been replaced by Grimeca. The front end gets a larger 300mm disc instead of the 260mm unit.
Cleaner Engine
Adhering to the OBD-2 norms, Bajaj has made the 2023 Pulsar NS200 ready for onboard diagnostics (OBD). It helps the bike monitor real-time emissions instead of getting just lab-tested results. However, the 199.5cc, single-cylinder engine dishing out 24.13bhp at 9,750rpm and 18.74Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm has been retained. Even the six-speed gearbox remains unaltered.
New Alloys
The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 gets new 17-inch alloys that have been borrowed from its 250cc siblings. These are wrapped in 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres, which are the same as before.
Fresh Paint Schemes
The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 comes draped in the Ebony Black paint scheme, where most of the bodywork is covered in black with a red stripe all over. It makes for an appealing contrast. The second colour option is the Pearl White Metallic, where the fuel tank and rear side panels are covered in white and get a dark red stripe all over.
Price
Bajaj has priced the 2023 Pulsar NS200 at Rs. 1,47,347 (ex-showroom, Delhi). That’s about Rs. 6,600 more than the 2022 model.
