- BMW S1000R updated for 2023
- Gets new colours and minor updates
- Could be launched by end of this year
BMW Motorrad has updated and unveiled the 2023 S1000R for international markets. And as part of the new model year, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and Aprilia Tuono V4 rival get minor tech updates and new colour schemes.
So the tech updates are convenience-focused and include an RDC or tire pressure monitoring system that monitors the pressure and valves in real-time and even warns the rider. Additionally, BMW is also offering the ability to turn off the self-cancelling indicators on the 2023 S1000R. Besides these new features, the motorcycles also come with new colour schemes to distinguish it from the previous model.
The standard model now gets Blackstorm Metallic which incorporates an entirely blacked-out look with white lettering on the tank shrouds. This colour replaces the Racing Red on the earlier version. Moreover, the Style Sport package is now offered in Bluestone Metallic with Black Storm instead of the Hockenheim Silver available previously. On the other hand, the M Package remains the same as before with the signature tri-tone colour options.
Now, the 2023 model is already on sale in a few international markets but is only likely to be available in India by the end of this year. For now, BMW Motorrad will be focusing on the launch on the G310 RR that is scheduled for August 15.
