BMW Motorrad India has announced the launch of the 2023 S1000RR in our market. The motorcycle is available in three variants and prices start from Rs 20.25 lakh. Check out the variant-wise prices below:
Standard: Rs 20.25 lakh
Pro: Rs 22.15 lakh
Pro M Sport: Rs 24.55 lakh
The 2023 iteration of the BMW S1000RR gets several styling and mechanical updates. The fairing, for example, gets sports aero winglets as standard fitment and these are claimed to add 10kg of downforce. Further, the windscreen has been lengthened to improve wind deflection. Meanwhile, it retains the sleek LED headlight assembly from the previous version. This model also gets a new rear end, more power output, and advanced assistance systems.
The mechanical specifications retain the 999cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine with BMW ShiftCam. However, the motor now delivers 206.5bhp of maximum output at 13,750rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 11,000rpm. The electronic rider aids on the 2023 model comprise traction control system with slide control function, ABS with brake slide assist, four ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race), hill start control, bidirectional quickshifter, launch control, and pit lane limiter. Further, the company will offer Race Pro 1 to 3 modes as optional.
The 2023 BMW S 1000 RR rivals the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4 and Kawasaki ZX-10R in the Indian market. The bookings for the motorcycle have commenced across the country.
