- Spotted testing overseas
- Gets tweaked fuel tank design, side panels and winglets
- Likely to get the same changes as the Panigale V4
Ducati revealed it’ll unveil seven new motorcycles via the World Premiere series in the upcoming months. One of those could be the updated Scrambler, and another model could be the 2023 Streetfighter V4. Its test mule has been spotted overseas and looks ready for production.
These spy shots show that the updated Streetfighter V4 could benefit from a tweaked fuel tank design with slightly larger capacity, more aerodynamic side panels, and even larger side winglets. The tank also gets recess which are absent in the current model but seen on the latest Panigale V4.
That said, Ducati recently updated its flagship supersport with tweaked gear ratios making the first five cogs tighter and the sixth gear longer for better top speed. However, the output figures are unlikely to see any change. For reference, the current model dishes out 208bhp. Elsewhere, we also expect the 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 to get software updates for the engine braking and traction control system. Even the quickshifter and cooling fan system programming could be tweaked for optimum performance.
It won’t be a surprise if the Streetfighter V4 too gets a geometry change with its swingarm pivot placed slightly higher for lower squat under acceleration. Lastly, the design changes will be bleak as the test mule seems to be equipped with the same headlight and the overall design too appears unaltered.
