2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V now available in four colours

- Available in two variants

- Base model listed in three colours

- Pro variant available in single paint option

The OBD2 and E20 fuel-compliant Hero Xpulse 200 4V has arrived in the Indian market, and this adventure tourer benefits from several updates over its predecessor. Unlike the previous version, the 2023 Xpulse 200 4V is available in two variants – base and Pro – and are distinguished through their respective hardware. The colour palette, too, is different for these two versions.

The base model, for example, is available in three dual-tone colour schemes – Matte Nexus Blue, Techno Blue, and Black Sports Red. Meanwhile, the Pro version is available in a single paint option, and it benefits from Rally Edition graphics. The decals on the base version are similar to those on the previous iteration of the standard Xpulse 200 4V. On the other hand, the livery on the Pro variant is similar to those on the Rally Edition that was previously offered in India in limited numbers.

Apart from different colours, the Pro variant benefits from premium hardware such as a fully adjustable front and rear suspension with longer travel, increased seat height and ground clearance, a handlebar riser, an extended gear lever, and a longer side stand.

Meanwhile, both variants benefit from an updated headlight that now includes a Class-D LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs. Hero MotoCorp claims that the new setup delivers 230 per cent improved light intensity. Other updates include a new 60mm taller Rally-style windshield, updated switchgear, a three-level ABS, closed-loop type handguards, and an updated luggage plate. These models also benefit from a revised rider’s triangle, and the footpegs are now 35mm lower and 8mm rear set.

The mechanical specifications retain the 200cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, four-valve engine that now complies with the OBD-2 norms and is E20 fuel ready. The output remains unchanged, and this engine continues to deliver 18.8bhp at 8,000rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm.

The base and Pro models are priced at Rs. 1,43,516 and Rs. 1,50,891, respectively. The bookings have commenced across India, and the deliveries are expected to begin very soon.
