Hero MotoCorp has updated its adventure-tourer motorcycle, the Xpulse 200 4V. The latest iteration of this product from Hero MotoCorp is now available in two variants – base and Pro – and it benefits from several upgrades over its predecessor. Previously, we brought you the top five highlights of the 2023 Hero Xpulse 200 4V range along with a detailed image gallery of the base model. Here, we bring you a detailed image gallery of the Pro variant of this adventure tourer.
The Pro variant is essentially the Xpulse 200 4V Rally that was previously offered in the Indian market in limited numbers. Thus, this variant of the Xpulse 200 4V range packs premium hardware along with a unique livery that distinguishes it from the standard version.
The hardware, for example, includes a fully adjustable front and rear suspension setup with more extended travel than the standard model, a taller seat, increased ground clearance, a handlebar riser, an extended gear lever, and a longer side stand.
In terms of styling, the Pro version is available in a single paint option with Rally Edition Graphics. Meanwhile, the design is similar to the standard version, and the Pro variant features a round headlight, rally-style windshield, a beak-style front fender, closed-loop knuckle guards, and an updated luggage rack.
Then, similar to the standard model, the Pro variant, too, gets a Class-D LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs that is claimed to deliver a 230 per cent improved intensity over the previous version.
This motorcycle also gets a real-time fuel economy indicator and three-level ABS – Road, Off-road, and Rally. Meanwhile, it retains a Bluetooth-enabled LCD with turn-by-turn navigation from the discontinued model.
Hero MotoCorp has updated the rider’s triangle with a revised foot peg position. The updated setup is 35mm lower and 8mm rear set than the previous version. The company claims that this delivers greater control during standing riding stance with a limited load on the riders’ wrists, and increased leg holding area.
The mechanical specifications retain the 200cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, four-valve engine. This motor is now OBD-2 and E20 fuel compliant. The output numbers remain, on the other hand, remain unchanged, and this engine continues to deliver 18.8bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm.
The Pro variant is priced at Rs. 1,50,891, making it marginally more expensive than the base model that is available at Rs. 1,43,516.
