- Gets the same styling and mechanicals as before
- Powered by a 184.4cc single-cylinder engine
- Now meets the OBD-2 compliance norms
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have launched the 2023 CB200X in India. The Japanese offering has received the OBD-2 treatment for the latest model and it now meets the newest emission norms. Here’s what we know about the new Honda CB200X.
For 2023, the Honda CB200X has retained the design from the 2022 model. Therefore, you see the same muscular design all over with the single-piece headlight surrounded by bikini-fairing and a smoked visor. The split-seat setup, two-piece grab-rail, and the neutral rider triangle, too, have been carried over from before. However, Honda will now offer the CB200X in a new paint scheme of Decent Blue Metallic with Pearl Nightstar Black and Sports Red.
It's powered by an OBD 2-compliant, 184.4cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 17bhp and 15.9Nm. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The CB200X benefits from features like LED illumination and a fully digital instrument console with adjustable brightness. It gets all the basic readouts like the speedometer, trip meter, odometer, fuel level, time, and more.
Honda has used USD front forks and a monoshock for the CB200X. It gets a front and rear disc for the braking hardware and ABS as the safety net. The setup is mounted on alloys wrapped in road-biased tyres.
The asking price for the new Honda CB200X is set at Rs. 1,46,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). If you are looking for other and more capable options in the same price range, then the Hero Xpulse 200 4V would be a sensible purchase.
